Brenda Dempsey’s Book Brilliance Publishing is Enabling Individuals to Go Beyond the Book at a Time When it is Needed Most!

Books & Literature Business News News Room

Using these experiences as inspiration, speakers, writers and entrepreneurs worldwide are now on a mission to make a difference in the world. They recognise the power of being an expert in their field and have a strong calling to share their written narrative in order to leave a legacy through their story.  Yet, publishing a book is not always as clear-cut as it might appear and Brenda Dempsey, CEO of Book Brilliance Publishing, has set out to help others by making the process much less complicated.

Dempsey is a woman of action and a spirited leader! From a young age of 10, she took the initiative to raise money for starving children in Biafra and vowed to one day visit Africa and build a school. Her strength, self-belief and resilience became her armour when later in life she found herself homeless, with four children, after escaping a 16-year abusive marriage. Dempsey’s determination for a better life for herself and her children was the driving force she needed to complete her B.Ed. (Hons) degree where she achieved her dream of becoming a teacher.  After 25 years, she left her beloved teaching to embark on a new journey where she would embrace the challenge of building an ‘I Can Revolution’, enabling 10 million spirited leaders to raise their voices of courage and impact change through imagination, innovation and influence.

Unafraid of immense challenges, Dempsey used her wealth of experience and expertise in writing books and created a new business in June 2020, Book Brilliance Publishing, in the middle of the worldwide pandemic known as Covid-19.

For first-time and new authors, choosing the right publisher or determining if self-publishing is the best option can be intimidating. Book Brilliance Publishing intends to put the quality back into publishing, as self-publishing has clouded many people’s perception of what it takes to author a great book. They also wish to educate individuals on securing publishing contracts for a global stage and fully understanding the nuances that are involved in an author-publisher relationship, highlighting that collaboration, authenticity and transparency are key factors for success.

Brenda’s partners include Olivia Eisinger, Editorial Director, whose involvement in the world of drama, music and writing and extensive experience as an editor has added tremendous value to the team, and Zara Thatcher, professional member of the CIEP, whose love of detail in creating and producing books as well as her expertise in typesetting, design and the publishing processes has enabled her to equally provide enormous worth. Both remarkable women are committed to the vision and mission of Book Brilliance Publishing, dedicating their efforts to guiding their clients towards sharing their messages with the world.

The company currently represents 15 authors and has since their business launch, has published two books, Feel It To Heal It by Caroline Purvey and Fear Less, Live More by Andrea A Smith. With a specialist focus on non-fiction, children’s books and anthologies, the company are also attracting fiction and poetry writers now as well. Book Brilliance Publishing go Beyond the Book, meaning they help authors create a business surrounding the written work to become more of a brand. Book Brilliance Publishing is a partnership publishing house that puts its authors at the heart so they can partner their way to success.

“Business Brilliance on a global stage where You Drive, We Navigate.”
