About Deborah Servetnick

Deborah Servetnick has been a transformational teacher all her adult life, following a path that could only be designed by divine guidance, connecting everything. Deborah grew up in Philadelphia, and her love of the Grateful Dead brought her to Berkeley in 1980, where she began her study of bodywork, Chinese medicine, breathwork, meditation, and the human energy field. Her deeply intuitive healing practice led her to work with people with AIDS and other life-threatening illness, and while engaged as an Act-Up activist in San Francisco and Philadelphia, she continued in spiritual study to hold space for the dying and their transition.

By the time she was 30 Deborah studied with Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, and Marianne Williamson; returning to psychedelic substances for expanded consciousness, and experienced her first ayahuasca ceremony, and met the Dalai Lama. But it was during a Dark Night of the Soul breast cancer experience in 2011 when she was teaching high school English that her communication with the spirit world accelerated.

Deborah was led to join a groundbreaking psychedelic research study for cancer patients with end-of-life anxiety at JHU. It reset her life. You can hear Deborah’s story in a movie from Unlimited Sciences https://unlimitedsciences.org/breast-cancer-psychedelics-and-end-of-life-anxiety-a-survivors-story/.

Today, Grateful Deb is a Certified Life Mastery Coach, a renowned public speaker, and has taught and empowered thousands to move from a conditional life to a life they love living through a transformational spiritual curriculum in alignment with a psychedelic experience, using the same tools that saved her life. Deb has worked to see Initiative 81 in DC a success. Psychedelic medicine offers relief to Veterans and others with PTSD, offers cancer patients healing, and has alleviated depression and chronic headaches.
