Nancy Steele is a wife and mother who has spent her life serving God with her gifts of teaching and working with children. She has condensed the experience and knowledge gained from her health journey into a book entitled From Stumbling Blocks to Stepping Stones.  In her book, available this week, she hopes to convey a simple message: “know that you can trust God – even when it feels like you can’t.”

Steele says, “God loves you too much to leave you in a state of partial healing; He wants to heal your spirit, soul and body. As we learn to put God first in our lives, we can truly let go of every outcome and give thanks for every circumstance knowing He loves us unconditionally. If we read His Word daily, we will be sustained and nourished to handle anything that comes at us that day.”

Steele distinguishes between a head trust and a heart trust in God. Readers will learn how to trust God when facing significant chronic health issues or other life challenges by applying God’s Word in their situation. She addresses the stumbling blocks of despair, discouragement and lack of trust, and explains how to use the intentional application of God-given strategies to give rise to hope, perseverance and strength. Each of her strategies outlined in the book becomes a stepping stone toward deeper healing and a true heart trust in God.

According to Steele, “I cannot emphasize the life-giving power of the Word of God enough. As you read and meditate on it, your attitude, perspective and actions will change, and you will be transformed into the best version of yourself through His strength and the power of the Holy Spirit.”

From Stumbling Blocks to Stepping Stones will be available this week through the author’s website.
