Lincoln Park had not played a WPIAL team in more than three weeks before it met up with North Catholic in the Pittsburgh Holiday Hoops Classic at PPG Paints Arena.
It may have been a while since the Leopards took on a local team, but they certainly hadn’t lost their dominating touch.
Pitt recruit Brandin Cummings scored a game-high 23 points and junior forward Meleek Thomas finished with 15 points and 13 boards as Lincoln Park (6-2, 2-0) cruised to a 72-58 victory Wednesday night against North Catholic (4-3, 1-1).
